When people are guessing the curve and saying -10 or -x number, what does this actually refer to? Someone please help - I'm completely confused!

how many missed questions equals a scaled score of 170. idk what the particular significance is, but that's what it means.

Maximum amount of questions you can miss and get a 170.

The number one can miss and still get a 170. Usually ranges from 9 (sometimes 8) to as high as 12ish.
