Yea that was my worst one..the proctor gave a 5 minute warning with 10 minutes to go!Philipsssssss wrote:RPK34 wrote:I had LR/LG/LR/RC/LR
The last one had the underground rock band in it. I also remember it had a question about perservatives in food in that section. Sucks if that was the real one, I definitely bombed it, though it did have a huge section of D/Es like everyone else said.
I also remember my second LR section had a question about a state congress or something and be willing to negotiate on bills. I'm pretty sure that one had 26 questions as well.
so which one was exp?
I biombed the 3rd one...

I had the undergound rockband section, too. It might not be exp.
For the RC LR LG LR RC people, which section do you think is exp?

I can't remember, but I had all of those and my experimental was RC if that helps at all (I guess it doesn't).Saltqjibo wrote:anyone know if the bus driver - traffic violations stim was in the same section as rock band/ libel/ black hole?

Re: Figuring out the experimental section
I had LR LG LR RC LR and my second LR had 26 questions-I remember this because I had just had a shaky finish on LG, was having a rough time with some LR as a result and then flipped to check how many questions there were thinking that of course there were 26 questions on the section I was slightly freaking at-Murphy's Law in full effect! So yes, I'm positive that my 2nd LR had 26 questions. One was about the earth's origins and amino acids, and the elements in question changed in the last sentence of the question, which led me to believe that it was poorly proofread, ie experimental. That or my idiocy about science shone right through!

I had 3 LR and I saw nothing of this amino acid earth question. Pretty sure that was one of the experimentals.

I also had LR LG LR RC LR.
Anyone with two LR sections remember a question about dead otters and oil?
How about a question about magnets and iron?
These showed up on LR section 2, and section 1 on my test, respectively.

Must have been a few LR experimentals...I'm in Toronto so maybe they had a different one for Canadians! I must have reread that question at least five times trying to make sense of it...can't even explain how relieved I am that that brutal section didn't count.Saltqjibo wrote:I had 3 LR and I saw nothing of this amino acid earth question. So you think the first RC was experimental? Arrh. I need to go to the All You Can Eat Sushi place tonight to reenergize for Oct.angiej wrote:I can't remember, but I had all of those and my experimental was RC if that helps at all (I guess it doesn't).Saltqjibo wrote:anyone know if the bus driver - traffic violations stim was in the same section as rock band/ libel/ black hole?
BTW I did have magnet and iron. And otters and oil as well.

Yeah, I had both of those. LR section 2 also seemed to have a ton of "what role does the statement .... play in the argument"Bvv5003 wrote:I also had LR LG LR RC LR.

I think that was experimental.

Haha there goes that theory...wrote at the Delta Chelsea. Thank god...was originally going to have to go to Windsor. Got myself on a waiting list and wound up writing in a hotel ballroom!

Yeah me too. I was stuck at windsor and switched to International centre then U of T (figured I'd taken so many awful tests there I would be mentally prepared).

Nice. If I rewrite I wouldn't mind doing it at my undergrad school...where I'm most comfortable with brutal exams.

For the LG was the one about "writer's assistant and photographer's assistant" the real one? I can't remember if that was the mulch one or not.

Re: Figuring out the experimental section
Here were the scored sections.
LR (25 questions #1)
LG (Tuscany sucks.)
LR (25 questions #2)
RC (Honeybees)
I had the worst experimental RC section.
One of my friends got three LR sections and the one he thought was the easiest is the one which wasn't scored.
I've heard similar things about LG.
For the people who thought this RC was hard, it was nothing compared to that shitshow I had to go through. It was difficult enough that I thought, "This better be experimental or I'm canceling this test.."
LR was kind of a blur to me but I remember something about a disease in Country X and something about manners and laws.
The LG game which makes me the most nervous was the Henson one but that's only because that was the only section I didn't have time to check over.. I actually found a mulch one to be easy- it was different but not in a bad way.
