Whhhaaaa??!! Please say this is a mistake. This flies in the face of everything discussed on this forum so far. Other people with only two LR sections confirmed that their first section contained the magnet question and the otter question. Was this the same for you?hamburg city wrote:"Dr. Strangelove"]Here were the scored sections.
LR (25 questions #1)
LG (Tuscany sucks.)
LR (25 questions #2)
RC (Honeybees)
I only had two LR sections (51Q total) and one of them had 26 Qs. Either the LSAC is taking the piss or one of your 25s is actually an experimental.

HAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAH!
EXACTLY what I was thinking! Literally started laughing histerically when I got to this post!
BTW-I had magnets in first LR and it was 25Q's. The 3rd section (2nd LR section) was 26 questions. And I believe my 5th section (3rd LR) was 25 questions again. So the OP is the only one on here that I've seen say that they only had 2 LR sections and they totaled 51.

Does anyone with 2 LRs remember question number 5 from one of the sections, it was about a black and white prey species and camouflage?

I'm pretty certain that the "guitar string physics teacher/bus driver traffic violation" experimental LR section had 26 questions. That's the section I had as Section 3.Saltqjibo wrote:I pieced this together yesterday but never posted an update:

I had 25, 23, 26, 27, 25. I had bud driver, but no squeaky floor ninjas (wtf??) nor do I remember anything about guitar strings. I do however remember a weird answer pattern on section 5.truffleshuffle wrote:Did it have squeaky floor ninjas? Yeah I'm not sure about the guitar string one. I was just repeating the quote before me. I do remember the bus driver. I definitely don't remember ninjas.OklahomasOK wrote:I had 25, 23, 26, 27, 25. Re: Figuring out the experimental section
That was exactly how I felt about the first LR. I had the LR LG LR RC LR format as well. Felt way better about the third and fifth LR so hoping those are the scored sections.rklafehn wrote:I thought the first of the three LRs was hard, the second easy, and the last medium.
I guessed on about 5 (or was down in between two choices) on the first LR and for the other two LR I guessed on about 2-3 I would say.

Re: Figuring out the experimental section
This is outrageous.
We've already concluded that the two scored LRs were 25 questions apiece, right? So those with 3 LR can be confident that the section with 26 questions is certainly the experimental. It seems to be that there were a couple different versions of this 26 question LR section (Some with guitar/physics question, some without, etc.) This is the prevalent mood around here, eh?

Good. Because I'm pretty sure it was the first LR that I had that I had 26 questions. And that was the one I had the most trouble with.Kchuck wrote:This is outrageous.

Re: Figuring out the experimental section
Ok, well I'll say this:
A) I know that I had the question with bus driver.
B) I did not have any questions about a guitar playing teacher.
C) I did not have any questions about ninjas.
D) I did not have any questions about lightning.
E) 100% certain that the magnet question was my first question in first section (Cause I actually had to go back to it to reread it at the end. Glad I did.)
F) Definetely had the LR LG LR RC LR format and definetely think the questions in section 3 were a little "different."
G) Also, I'm 100% sure that the rockband and black spinning mass (or w/e) was in section 5.
If section 3, and the 2nd LR wasn't the experimental, I'd be very surprised. BUT-I think it's clear that some of us had different questions in that experimental, which would make sense due to the fact that the LSAC does the experimentals to test questions for future test and they probably want a wide variety of feedback to these different questions.
Just my thoughts, and yes mainly for my mental clarity.
Also, still enjoy the "you better shut you damn mouth" comment the best.

Is it possible that the guitar string question came near the end of the section and that why people are not remembering that question?

Re: Figuring out the experimental section
Just to clear this up, if you had only 2 LR sections, please confirm that you had one section with questions about iron/magnets and oil/otters, and then another section with questions about black holes and underground rock bands. Also, confirm that those two sections both had 25 questions.

Re: Figuring out the experimental section
Could be wrong about the bus driver traffic violations being in #3. So that might be a source of confusions. For sure the two score LR sections each had 25 questions and one had otters/magnets and one had black holes/ underground rock band. Seems for most people those came first and fifth. Its entirely possible that there were a few diff versions of the experimental, and maybe even some Q overlap. I had 3 LR and have no recollection of squaky floor ninjas/ apes horse mammals etc, But I definitly had a question near the end of one of my sections about a physics teach teaching concepts to kids by plucking a guitar string...
hope that helps

It's pretty clear. Section 3 was experimental in the LR LG LR RC LR format, IMHO.
