Pre-LSAT Playlist

Post by theavrock » Sun Jun 06, 2010 9:11 pm

Not sure about anyone else out there but music helps to put me in the appropriate moods and channel my energy. Gotta put myself in a cocky mood to really rip up this test.

Alright everyone lets hear what is going on your iPod, car stereo etc to get yourself in the zone.

Here is what I have so far

Not Afraid: Eminem
Top of the World: Van Halen
Forever: Drake
I Made It: Kevin Rudolf
My Way: Frank Sinatra

What else needs to go on here?

You're The Inspiration-Chicago
(The subject of the song is any T10 school.)

Anything that satirizes my desire to go to law school helps me keep a positive attitude.

I think there was another thread like this. I posted on it 6 months ago and I think the same thing today: There's a Miley song for every situation.

Pre-LSAT:

I Got Nerve
Rockstar
Nobody's Perfect

Post-LSAT:

Breakout
Let's Dance
GNO (Girls Night Out)
Clear
EDIT: How could I forget Party in the USA? Bad Rikku.
In case of a retake:

Start All Over
See You Again

I know, right? I probably just made a lot of enemies by saying my LSAT playlist is filled with Miley :P. But See You Again is the perfect retake song. "The last time I freaked out/I just kept looking down...but next time we hang out/I will redeem myself."

..wow this test needs to be over now. For just a fleeting second I thought that Miley was intentionally singing about the LSAT.

Girls don't make enemies by listening to the wrong kind of music. But yes, liking Miley is unacceptable.

Pre-LSAT (drive-to playlist) for me would be some escapist stuff. "We all live in a yellow submarine", mauve dinosaur Barney's "I love you" song, that sort of thing.

My pre-test music is rockin...

Buckcherry - Lit up
Buckcherry - Time Bomb
Warrant - Cherry Pie
Ace Hood - Overtime
Black Dada - Imma Zoe
Black Dada- Rags to Riches
DJ Envy - Dolla Bill
Omarion - I get it in
Thornley - Easy Comes
Saul Williams - List of Demands
The Lonely Island - Jizz in My Pants (Yes, really. Gotta lighten the mood a little)
Mims - Move (If You Wanna)
The Offspring - Pretty Fly (For a White Guy) (same as Lonely Island)
Band of Skulls - Light of the Morning
Audio Push - Teach Me How to Jerk
DJ Drama - Day Dreaming

I burned these to a CD and I'll be blasting it as I cruise down the highway to my test center tomorrow. Oh yeah.

I was curious about this as well.

Its an uplifting song and all, but it seems like a "when all hope is lost" sort of song.

I'm thinking Dr. Dre - The Next Episode. A good dose of gangsta rap does me well. 8)
