Anyone know if there is even a 10 second break between section 1 and 2, 2 and 3... etc...when you can reset your minute hand to 12? Or are you guys just not resetting and keeping track of when 35 minutes is from the time you finish each section?

Im deciding whether or not I should go buy a watch right now. Theres a clock in the room so I could just use that.

It's been my experience, in both high school and college classrooms, that the clocks on the wall are usually not working properly. You better get or borrow a watch.

what about the re-setting? I worry that Im gonna lose track of when time is up since I always have to add 35 minutes from the end of the section. Like if I add wrong...haha

The proctors usually give you a 5-10 second break in between each section. I highly recommend you bring a watch. You don't want to look suspicious by constantly looking around to check the clock.

Just set the watch to 12 every time and know that you have to stop at 12:35. Reset the watch to 12 in between the 5-10 second break. Go to target and buy a watch (they're cheap).

okay cool, I just wanted to know if they give you that little break or go straight into the next section.

They definitely give you a little break -- maybe close to about 30 seconds to a minute. At the end of each section, the proctors are supposed to ensure that everybody puts pencils down when time is called and they also have to read some text from LSAC between sections.

Exactly!

You should have about 5-10 seconds between sections to reset your watch. What I usually do is reset it as fast as I can. Even if you go 5-10 seconds into the next section's time, using that 10 seconds is a much better option than constantly losing focus throughout the next section as you worry about the time.
