LOTS of people have trouble with RC. I used to be one of them. I was using the Powerscore method with all the underlining and labeling etc. I was missing like 10 on comp. Then I got a tutor and she told me that underlining really throws her off and makes it hard for her to concentrate and suggested I stop doing it and instead summarize each paragraph in 3 words next to it. I've been doing that and today I got my first perfect RC score! So really, I suggest trying this a couple times, especially if RC is normally (in other areas of life) one of your strong points.

Also the LSAT is dictating my moods b/c I got an AMAZING score I never EVER thought I would get on my PT today and yes, it was probably a fluke, but I AM SO EXCITED AND LOVE THE WORLD. Can't wait for Monday!!!

I can either be elated by the LSAT or beaten into a corner I.E. Russian Art, Talk Song, The Bus Game.

Yep...probably more harm done than good on this forum with people trying to "game" the RC section with strategies and methodical approaches. It just don't work like that.

Make sure you're putting up those -0's on PT5X's because I can get -1/-2 all day long until I hit those newer tests and things get a bit more tricky.

Anyone have any success with this or a similar strategy? RC is lagging me like a mofo. I am contemplating canceling and retaking in Oct to work on my RC skills.

I made the mistake when I first started preparing for my first go around to exclude RC from my preparations. While everything else is a breeze, RC is far from it.

Hmmm reading comp is bad for me too -8-10 on average (very bad). Especially bad since i miss 0 on games (usually) and 2-6 total lr :/

I think it's just the modern era RC. The old RC seemed really easy. To ace the modern sections it seems you need to bring your A game and note every minute nuance of the passage, because you'll get a random question over some slight distinction. .. bob saget.
