I am not prepared enough for the lsat that is going to be given next week. I am still only getting 7 questions on the games correct, and scoring around a 150 on the practice exams. How do I go about cancelling the test? What books or classes would you recommend I get for the October exam...

thanks and good luck to all

Well, you can't completely back out of it now. Take the test to get the experience of taking the real thing, then cancel your score at the end.

In terms of studying, most people seem to do well with the Powerscore Bibles. Prep courses (Powerscore, Testmasters, Kaplan, etc) are also a good option for more personalized attention and for sticking to a good study routine. Pithypike's guide (on these forums) is another great one for really bumping up your score.

Just don't go and you get an absence.

Get the Powerscore logic games bible.

You should probably take the absence. Don't show up. This will show up but won't have any negative effect on you. Read the article below:

"Should I Postpone, Cancel, or Take an Absence?"
