This sucks. I've lost all motivation, now that I have some belief in my head about a viable option B.

I understand that. I studied for about two months straight completely fired up the whole time. Recently it's gotten substantially more difficult to get myself motivated.

Took PT 48 this past weekend, untimed, four sections, surrounded by hyper dogs.

LR1: -2
LR2: -2
RC: -2
LG: -2

Raw: 93
Scaled: 170

But does it matter if it's untimed and only four sections long? Not really.

*sigh*

I think I've gotten to a roadblock in my motivation, because I don't know how to improve from here. Any mistakes in LG and RC come from impatience (which I can totally work on). However, my discouraging mistakes are usually in the harder LR's, and it's always that I fall for the "shell game" answer. I don't know if it's a matter of needing to read more closely or what. I would like to try to get myself in the mindset of looking for the ways that testmakers are trying to trick you, thereby being able to eliminate answers more quickly and efficiently.

Oh well. If this doesn't pan out, there's always June.

Agh.

I signed up for the Feb 2011 test earlier in the week and am totally stoked!

I've been working through PTs 29-38 and doing okay. My LG scores are well above the other sections - I missed 1 on the last test, and none on the one before - and I'm really hoping to sharpen my LR skills before February, since that is my weakest area.

My goal is 170+, and I scored a 164 on my first PT. Last one came in at 171.

Looking for a book with some more recent PTs.

Fun times, right?

I'm also in for the Feb LSAT and the FAll 2011 application cycle. I just registered for the Testmasters Course and I plan to buy the Powerscore Bibles Trilogy soon. Anyone studying in DC?

How's everyone doing. I signed up for the FEB test and I am thinking of taking Knewton LSAT. I took about a two month break from the LSAT and I scored a 164 and 165 on my last tests.

Where do you find yourselves right now? How long have you been studying? What's your study plan going forward? How many hours a week are you putting into it?

how about January? let's set that as a freaking out month (given that our scores don't vastly improve before then, of course)

Sounds perfect. New Year's Eve hangover mixed with freak out?

It's a date.

Freakout scheduled for January 1.

I'm curious about this, too.

I've revised my study schedule to work my way through Kaplan Mastery this month and then start PTing again under mock test conditions in January.

Would be real cool to just hit a 180 in February and be able to ignore June. 8)

I don't think any of the other four had threads like this until after their relative tests were administered.

In other words, GET BACK TO WORK.

I agree 9.9luft. The October thread was people just posting their PT scores and...that was about it. Nobody talked about ANYTHING.

I don't think we should agree about dumb shit this early, but I think we could talk about fun stuff AND the LSAT :)

<3 seriously. I kinda feel like we should start fresh because this one has really dumb stuff at the beginning that people are going to keep commenting on :(
