aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhh

Post by northwood » Thu May 20, 2010 8:50 pm

It seems the more I study and analyzed the problems that I got wrong on the practice tests, the worse I am doing... My brain is now going into panic mode, and concentrating is becoming difficult... any suggestions?

I thought that was an "O" noise. As such, I'm disappointed by the contents of this thread.

Yeah, you're probably burned out. Take a break. You'll see the test with fresh eyes when you come back to it.

+1
Just stop for a bit. Come back to studying after a good break, you will feel better about everything. You know how people tell you to sleep on it? Do that for a bit. I bet you can come back to the test doing a lot better.

i suggest you to take two or three days off. whenever that happens to me, i take time off and when i'm back, there is actually at least a little jump in my score. good luck!

i like the suggestions and advice.... got me a nice case of beer i guess im just really nervous about the test and im putting pressure on myself to to well, and in order to do that i need to study a lot- ( like 4 hours a day 7 days a week) to be able to do really well on the logical portion of the exam and the reading comprehension( the games part, im not too worried about)

i hate being a nervous nellie, and a worrywort sally

Cheers!!!!

I totally understand where you're coming from. I too have noticed a dip in my test and my brain is just going into full on panic mode and its become difficult to even get through pacing sections. I'm just trying to remind myself that I've studied and know how to do the problems and that added pressure and silliness is not going to help. When I start going stir crazy, I typically just stop because pushing through it [to some degree] probably will not help. Good luck and good weekend!
