However, it would be greatly appreciated if you could do this for PT 58, 59 and 60. PT 60 especially since many people are taking this one last. Not cool to go into a PT with an idea of how "hard" a section or game is.

In any case, I dont think theres anything more that I can do except practice. Ive cut down on mistakes, but Im still making stupid ones. One thing Ive noticed on the last 3 PT's is that some of LSAC's answers are somewhat subjective. Some answeres require you to make a huge leap that cant be 100% supported. This sucks. The best thing one can do in this case is use process of elimination and hope for the best.

I haven't ran into very many answers that aren't 100% obvious (either during or after the test during review). I make mistakes, but pretty much ALL of them are stupid. Now I just need to work on execution.

Im doing it on Thursday. I dont want to have more than a one day gap in between the last PT and the LSAT. Since im not doing anything on Friday, by default its best to do it on Thursday. Its like a logic game. PT 60 must come before Friday, but no more than one day before.

If I do better than -3 RC on the day of I am going to go out and hug everyone I see when I get my score back. Hold me to that :P

My last 8 RCs have been: -3, -5, -3, -3, -3, -2, -3, -4
Just one time I want to -1 or -0 a section :(

Also I think I'm going to take a PT now. I didn't get one in today because of football but just got up from a solid nap so I don't think fatigue will be a problem, even though just yesterday I swore not to take anymore this late...

I'm skipping my Thursday morning class and simulating Saturday as best as I can Thurs morning with Pt 60.

I had planned to take full PTs from here on out, but now I think I should go back to the drawing board on RC. Not even sure how to handle this at this point, though.

PT53 RC was abnormally hard for me as well. Don't worry about it. Also, I just noticed that earplugs are not allowed during the test and I'm been practicing with them for weeks. FML.

I think I'm going to do a few older RC sections tonight instead of another PT. I usually get -2/-3, almost all in one passage, and this time it was in three.

I have four tests left (54, 57-59) - might just cannibalize RC sections from 54 and 57 for Thurs and do 58 and 59 full on Mon/Wed.

Probably depends on my LR score on Monday.

I took 60 today. Didn't do so hot...-9, including 1 misbubbling

dont skim and reskim. at least not a week before the test.

i usually try to stay time efficient through the 1st 3, and save the smallest question one for last which is 5 or 6 q's. i spend more time in the passage on that last one so i can scan the choices. i find that way i dont have to go off by memory, but my accuracy might be about 10% lower. always works to finish on time.

My best on RC is -2. Feels bad. :(

Pretty sure RC hates me. Gotten -0 like three times, but never -1, and I don't remember a -2 ever.

I think I'm going to buy the RC from PT's 39-42, + 44 and do all the most modern RCs between now and test day. What's a little more money spent on this beast.

I've only really got PT 59 left, I'm taking that sucker on Monday, and then PT 42 on Wednesday. Random, right? I don't think at this point it really matters what number I take last, since I've taken tests or sections from 1-60 and I score generally the same on all of them (with the exception of RC, which is why I'm doing every last new RC I can get my hands on).

I took PT 60 today in my mock PR event. I liked the symmetry of 60 on Sat 2nd, and 61 on Sat 9th.

I'm doing Friday. I know, I'm an oddball. I actually do better the day after taking one. But I've been burning out after four or five straight, so I'll take off maybe Wed or Thu.

Tried this game again and got it in 8.5-9 mins. I really wish I could cut down the time. I felt more "comfortable" doing it a second time but still took almost 9 mins :?

I didn't do too many templates to begin with, I just rolled with the questions because I thought doing them in the beginning would take up even more time..

I think I'm doing PT 58 (168 that I'm retaking) on Wed as my last test.

my biggest issue with pt 58 58 and 59 is LR questions in the 20's. I can narrow them down to 2 or 3, but end up getting the question wrong. I normally get to question 20 with about 10 minutes left , but cant quite finish the section on a good note. it sucks, because i get the first 15 right ( minus one or 2), am able to get the parallel ones ( i do those at the 5 minute warning) and still get at least 2-3 of the last 5 wrong. I hate pulling the buffalo bills on the section ( get all the way to the end, only to royally mess it up like the bills in the early 90's superbowls), but like the fact that my timing and accuracy on the first 19 is so solid.

I agree with RC. If i miss even 1 day of doing full timed sections, i make more mistakes. My personal best is a -5 on that puppy ( my best LR is a -2, and i even managed a -0 on lg once).

EEh well, since this night is a wash, guess ill tackle some random RC section

I'm just finishing up the LRB and came across the following line: "On the June 1996 LSAT, six of seven consecutive answer choices in one section were (C)." I remember that... I had them all right and finished the section with time to spare and was like, no way this can be right and ended up changing an answer. I was so mad. Anyways, I also came up with a rough plan for next week.

Tomorrow: PT54
Tuesday: PT55
Wednesday: PT56
Thursday: Either PT48 (I haven't done it yet) or one I've done before, I haven't decided yet
Friday: Rest

I'd do PT57-PT60 instead but I don't have those :( . I'll be supplementing my studying this week by skimming through the LRB again, doing some RC sections, and working on game types I have trouble with.

Anyone else think it's going to be weird when this test is finally done? I'm so used to doing PTs and studying a lot. Not having to do LSAT prep anymore is going to be amazing.

Took PT 54 today.

165 scaled/86 raw

The doublethink RC killed me (-6)
The beakdown:
RC: -8
LR: -5 :(
LG: -0 :)
LR: -2 :)

my test-a-day routine continues until wed.
PT 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60 accordingly.

After PT 55 tomorrow, will do RCs from PT 52, 53, 56

just revisited prep test 50's RC. Scored a decent -7
passage 1 missed 2
passage 2 missed 0
passage 3 missed 4
passage 4. aka the superstar of the section -1

going over the section, i see why i missed so many on the 3rd passage- didnt go back to the right part of the passage. NUTS! well, theres always sunday afternoon for more RC, LR and Games work! On test day, ill gladly take a 21 on this section ( as its my lowest scoring one)

at least when i take prepper 60 on tuesday, ill get another crack at 2 rc sections!

Do you guys count correct guessed answers to your score or do you exclude them?

I usually do a raw score of just the questions I truly answered, and a raw score including correct guessed answers..

Exclude them in the number that matters.
When I wasn't finishing every section, I would figure both numbers out: with and without corrections. Served as great motivation to work on speed & endurance.

I have 57-59 through Cambridge LSAT online. I can print 'em out on Monday & send you the links so you can print 'em (at least I'm pretty sure it works that way, it's just a url... they'd have to do something pretty sweet to make the URL accessible only through the e-mail links).

Also, If anyone else wants PTs in the 54-59 range, I haven't opened 'em yet, so I'm pretty sure I can open, print, PM url's, & two other people can access them before the url expires. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!
LSAC, on what can be on your desk, says "highliter"... singular.
I've been using two colors for RC. Does anyone know if you're only allowed to have one specifically?

I read somewhere else that you are allowed one yellow highliter. Any other colors are seen as markers and are not allowed. You could probably bring them and ask the proctor, but be prepared to throw them away to get into the room.

When I took the test in June, my proctor was awful. Nothing in the bags was checked, and she even blatantly disregarded some rules (i.e. "No body cares if someone else needs to drink water during the test, right? Right. You can have water bottles on your desk")... she allowed people to eat as well. Just what I need, someone making crinkling noises because they finished 5 minutes early. Argg. But my friend took it at a different place and her proctor was super strict. Maybe it was because there were over 100 test takers in my room, and she was in a small classroom of less than 20. I don't know, but I've heard from others have proctor-dependent your experience is. Just be prepared for both instances!
