Two of the dogs are female, one greyhound, one labrador: both win ribbons. Only one labrador wins a ribbon, so we know it's one of the females. Thus, we know the four dogs that win ribbons are: 1 female lab, 1 female grey, 2 male greys. Plus, there are two more male dogs that don't win ribbons.

P(g), R(g) > S(l) > Q, T
The last, 6th dog, U(l) is outside of this scheme and thus supposedly can be anywhere. But look at it carefully. Only one labrador wins a ribbon, and it HAS to be S (because if U is anywhere ahead of S, it would mean S is the fourth dog in that list and thus the second labrador to win a ribbon, which would violate the rules.

Thus: P(g), R(g) > S(l) > Q, T, U(l)

P and R occupy 1st and 2nd places (either can be 1st), S is definitely 3d and is definitely female; and either Q or T is a greyhound, and has the fourth place and the last ribbon. Either P, R, Q or T can be the second female. U(l) is definitely male and is either 5th or 6th.
