Taking the Test at Pitt or Duquesne
Does anyone know if either of these sites is "better" than the other for taking the test? Any personal experiences? They're literally 10 minutes away from each other, if that, and I don't know which to pick.

I took it in U Pitt once when I was an undergrad at Carnegie Mellon, it was good, nice tables (plenty of space), nice environment, extremely quiet. Don't know anything about Duquesne. I would definitely recommend U Pitt.

I took it in a building called "Robert Lawrence Hall" or something like that, I can't remember exactly. It's on Forbes Ave, should be easy to find, but I recommend you go check it out the day before. And parking there ain't good, I had a buddy of mine dropped me off just in case I couldn't find a spot to park.

I took it at Duquesne. It was in the law building. No complaints at all.

At Pitt, it's probably taken at David Lawrence Hall. There are 2 types of classrooms in DLH, auditorium style and typical classroom style. The classroom style rooms have tables the extend the length of the room. They probably have 50 or so seats in them. The difference between those rooms and where I took the LSAT at DU is at Pitt, the seats were "Stadium style", meaning the rows were elevated.
in short, the type of room is about exactly the same. I chose to take the test at DU bc seating at Pitt was sold out.
Good Luck on your test!!

There are hotels within walking distance to both. Pitt is probably better if you're staying at a hotel though..... But surely you could stay at a hotel downtown and walk to duquesne.... So you're not fucked either way....

There is a Holiday Inn right on Pitt's campus. It's a pretty nice hotel too. I would say it is about a 10 minute walk from the Holiday Inn to David Lawrence Hall.James Bond wrote:I'm familiar with the burgh but not intimately in those areas. Which one has better/closer/more hotels?
