Thanks. There is more evidence supporting section 3 being the experimental. However, none of it is reliable.r6_philly wrote:http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... tart=15300

Do you remember which section the condors raised in capitivity is? I think the octopus was the 4th section.andyman wrote:Thanks. There is more evidence supporting section 3 being the experimental. However, none of it is reliable.r6_philly wrote:http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... tart=15300

what about those two, plus the micro loan -> developmental loan one
The question about fair -> morally good -> self-centered -> just, then ask you to make backward inferences was tough for me. Maybe I didn't read it good but I didn't think any answer was particularly good. That lend me to think that maybe sec 3 was the experimental, because that question plus the last one ... King of macedonia, I thought there were 2 good answers.
So did you get the LR questions that I mentioned above?MeredithMulligan wrote:My experimental was the third section and it was RC. So perhaps everyone's third section is the experimental.
I found the real RC to be very hard. Anyone else feel this way?
I spent the last 5 minutes on that question in the comparative passages: which statement would both the author likely to agree: I still don't know which one should be the credited answer after a day of pondering. I actually know the material really well, so it was really hard to choose what is actually supported by the passages rather than my understanding of the material...jd1 wrote:Answers to the questions were not too hard to find in the passage. The Mars and the Native American ones were straight forward for me.
I would agree the passage on Mars and the other on a land act passed for Native Americans were in fact relatively easy. The comparative reading passage looked easy but the questions were rather difficult.
oh shit, i took this test in korea in june of 2009. i couldn't figure out the condor question. if i remember correctly, it was in the first LR, pretty early into the section (>15). did the mars RC passage have a weaken question at the very end?r6_philly wrote:I looked back to the 08 discussion. There were people saying sec 1,3, and 4 was the experimental. I don't know who's right. I know it was 1 section about the octpus and 1 about the condor, but I don't remember which one contained the condor. I know the first 1 was easy, I finished with time to spare, sec 3 was much harder, sec 4 was in between. I had to guess on 3 parallel reasoning questions because I skipped them and didn't have time to go back. I really hope sec 1 is for real but if it is not the score convertion chart will probably reflect that. I will take -2 more for the questions I guessed pleaseandyman wrote:
I hope so too, but if the LG-LR-LG-RC-LR test had their experimental LG section on the third part, which we know is a fact since their first LG section was the same as our only LG section, doesn't that mean that our experimental is the third as well? Or can the experimental section vary between tests?
Well hopefully then what both you and I said is correct and we undeservedly get a -10+ curve even though it should be harsher.r6_philly wrote:If you listen to the Kaplan podcast from Feb 2008, the guy said it is similiar to the Dec 2005 test in difficulty - which had a -8 (93) for 170 ok now commence panic!
Condor question was tricky, I missed read it twice for some reason, must had some trickly wording. The credited answer is most likely the risk of being raised in by adult condors is worth it because of the likelyhood of longevity once released into the wild. I got it on the third pass.skip james wrote:

Either that or there were really less difficulty level 5 questions and all the borderline answers I chose were in fact correct. I only guessed on 3 questions due to time and they were the parrallel reasoning ones I chose to skip anyway (didn't have time to get back). But a -8 would be horrible. Considering the test is more time consuming than usual, even if they are easier questions, a lot of people didn't get to answer them all because of the longer time. I have to say this test (Save the LG which was markedly easier/less time consuming) was more time intensive than most.rv11 wrote:Well hopefully then what both you and I said is correct and we undeservedly get a -10+ curve even though it should be harsher.r6_philly wrote:If you listen to the Kaplan podcast from Feb 2008, the guy said it is similiar to the Dec 2005 test in difficulty - which had a -8 (93) for 170 ok now commence panic!
Anyone? You'll make me very happy.I remember reading somewhere over the weekend that the curve for this test was at least -10 since there was a score for everything in the 170s. Unfortunately, I've tried to find this link and can't remember where I saw it. Has anyone seen something like this as well or am I just imagining things?
yes. on some sites they refer to how many wrong to get 160. here is 170.as4051 wrote:what does a -10 curve mean? Does it mean that if you got -10 wrong you get a 170?
I've searched everywhere for confirmation in hopes that I would be made very happy as well. Unfortunately, if nobody else can find it, it makes me think that it's not true and I either imagined it or misread. Let's hope not.thsmthcrmnl wrote:Anyone? yeah i think that's the one i chose for the condors one, but it was a guess at the time. do you remember the must be true (i think, my memory is fuzzy) that involved three types of contracts? something regarding executive contracts and stuff? that was a tricky one to me too. i think those were the two LR problems i had a tough time with.r6_philly wrote:Condor question was tricky, I missed read it twice for some reason, must had some trickly wording. I do not remember the later questions that clear on the mars passage. nothing stood out as being confusing except one of the which is the most consistent with the passage question.
yes...23 LG, 27 RC, 25 & 26 LRskip james wrote:oh, and this test had 101 questions right?
