PrepTest 20, Section #4, Question #16-Thank you in advance

Post by LSAT_Padawan » Thu Feb 25, 2010 7:39 pm

16. (Paraphrasing) this is the ASSUMPTION question about the private industry trying to attract skilled research scientists by offering them higher salaries (50% more), so as a result unless the government-employed research scientists are motivate more by a sense of public duty than by their own interests, the gov is going to lose most of their skilled research scientists. Why is the answer (E) private sector research scientists work longer hours than do researcher employed by the gov? I can easily see why it should be (D) fringe benefits, after all the attorney I worked for bought me Laker tickets, massages and weekend spa treatments. In return for my fringe benefits, I worked longer hours then the rest of my peers.

it is D. E doesn't even make any sense. You must have looked the answer wrong. I see D in my answer sheet too.

Clear your sight, my young padawan.

Yes bakemono, you are correct. The correct answer is D, which TOTALLY makes a lot of sense. Thanks!
