i'm pretty darn sensitive to noise, and i tried lsat proctor, starbucks, among other places. Didn't seem to help and i was just fine with the pipe wheezing in the real thing, so..

I did 3-4 practice tests in the food court of a crowded urban train station at rush hour. I feel as though it helped me to gain experience in that setting.

For me, an environment with too much distractions is fine as they all kind of blend together and you can't make anything intelligible from what you hear. So I prefer either absolute silence or absolute chaos and unfortunately the LSAT isn't like that.

Did the same. While test day will still be scary, you can minimize this by preparing effectively.

Try turning the TV on in another room. I did this myself to help build my resistance to sound.
