TestMasters NYC course -- instructors

Postby bananapudding17 » Mon Feb 08, 2010 12:33 am

I'm taking a TestMasters course here in NYC this month/next in preparation for the June 2010 LSAT. Does anyone recommend any of these instructors in particular? I know a lot depends on you as the student, your commitment and the work you put in, but I’m debating on schedules right now and this would help tremendously.

Everyone on this site is in "boycott Testmasters" mode right now, so I doubt you will find much help here. But I had a class with Jason as the instructor and he really knows his stuff. He was very helpful, had great ways of explaining things, and always was on the same page as the students. He also seemed like he genuinely cared about us, not just because he was getting paid to teach us. That being said, the administration of Testmasters has done some horribly unprofessional things recently which have led many TLS users to completely turn against this company and urge students to take Powerscore or other comparable classes instead.

Go with Blueprint or Powerscore.

Testmasters almost went bankfrupt, from what I've heard. Powerscore is pretty much the way to go if you want to talk about prep courses/instructors on TLS without getting barked at.
