Another update to completely cream this dead horse...

I called the LSAC about UVA said was told that the test would not be this weekend, but that it would for sure be this month. That leaves just the 20th or the 27th, and that they would update me by email as to which date it was. Considering that the LSAC never emailed me to say that the test was postponed I don’t have a lot of faith in their update system, but she seemed pretty confident about one of those two dates.

20th or 27th for me but ya my test center has no idea about tha when i called so im assuming the lsac still has to ge ahold of themto set that up..i dont think that would be a problem since my university is like a deserted island on the weekends lol

I know everyone is anxious and upset about the wait, but take a look at this from a logistics position. Somewhere between 30-60 or more schools have to be reserved, staffed, AND the tests need to be ordered and printed. If they split it up into different weeks, different tests for different weeks, etc.. Take into account they had to be closed for 2 days due to weather..... this is a nightmare for them as well. I would hold back on the phone calls if I were you.

I agree.

However, sending out a simple e-mail that said something along the lines of:

"we've been closed two days, we know this is stressful. We haven't nailed down a day yet but it will be in Feb and not this Saturday."

would've gone a long way. Especially since it sounds like others, besides myself doubted the reliability of the "wait for an email" approach since we didn't get one regarding the initial cancellation. Just to know it wasn't going to be a fire drill tomorrow, and that I was in fact on the working email distro list would've kept me from calling.

FYI, I just received this, so it seems it will happen within the next 2 weeks. I'm scheduled to take it in UMD-College Park.

The main roads are. But I was just there yesterday and even some of the major secondary roads in Fairfax County are still complete disasters.

LSAC changed my testing site! I deliberately did not chose that site because I heard it was terrible and now I have to take it there. :-/

Today is Monday and things are closed for President's Day. If you don't get an e-mail tomorrow or Wednesday, then your test will likely be 2/27. Read what you wrote: "by the latest Wed". Today is Monday. Chill.
