How many total questions were on it?

That is what I used to think, but the December curve seemed to match the test. Anyway, no one is ever going to really know the curve since it's undisclosed, so it's kind of pointless to discuss.

It will be interesting to see what happens with us "snowed out" test takers. I kind of wish I got it over with today because instead of relaxing and being done, I get to to study more RC on Monday night and take at least one more PT :? .

Does anyone remember the LG section about male and female roles in two plays, Gatherings and Heartfire(?)?

Was that the experimental or real?

I'm also a "lurker" that does not post often here. I took the test today in CT and received the LG, LR, LG, LR, RC combination. Like others in this thread, I felt the 1st LG was more difficult than the 2nd LG (much more difficult) although not too bad.

I thought the experimental sections were ones that are clearly "easier" (in some shape or form)? This caused me to assume that the 2nd LG was experimental. It would be great if the 1st LG was experimental instead (if I remember correctly, the 2nd LG was mostly linear/complex linear and maybe one simple grouping game e.g. it was almost as simple as the introductory games found in the Powerscore LG Bible).

RC is my strong point and the one on this test was particularly easy. LR is my weak point and I found the LRs on this test to not be too challenging. Anyway, just wanted to share my thoughts - best of luck to everyone!

It seamed like i answered E to an unusual amount of Logic Games questions.

Did real well i thought on both games section and one was experimental I guess.

Did pretty well on both LR sections although I found an odd distribution of D's during the second half of the second one that makes me think I didn't do as well as I think. Did anybody else find this?

And then I pretty much ran out of time on the RC at the end which makes me think that my usual 172/174 or so is gonna be moer like a 170 at absolute best

I took the test today. Ten practice tests and I averaged a 157 before, but I am only trying to go to U of South Carolina where a 157 suffices. I know a lot of people posting here are way out of my league. I did really awful today. I only had 1 LG section and two RC. The LG was first and after I screwed that up I was really upset, and I think that impacted my performance on the remainder of the test. Should I cancel, or hope for the best. What I am really asking is if canceling my score is bad?

I had two RCs...

I had the first RC in Section I,,and since i was a bit nervous i did not do so well on it..
but after that i found my pace and went through the exam ok. Overall, i dont think the exam was too hard.
The Games were pretty easy too...no weird kind,, at least on the exam form i had.

Since i did wayyy better on the later RC, im just hoping that the first RC was the dummy!!!
argh i really hope it was!!!!! :(

+ For all of you who just took the exam today, CONGRATS! You've ALL DONE IT AND YOU ARE ALL STILL ALIVE!
get some rest! and have a grrreat rest of the day! :)

Is the experimental usually easier or more difficult than the other sections? Or is there no correlation?

We had 2 RC's at our place.
We did not have a logic game with Gatherings or whatevers.

I though it went okay, I really preferred one of the RC's to the other, but I guess that one may have been experimental. Did y'all have a RC passage involving sports?

LG's seemed okay, not terribly easy, not terribly difficult. LR's were pretty average.

I think -11 curve.

I got 2 LG sections as well. Does anyone know if the section with the workers (one of them was named Hernandez) and the east/west theaters was on the experimental section or the section that counts?

Curve is determined by previous 8 administrations, so the current one could impact it if enough people tested, but seeing as feb isn't such a huge testing date, wouldn't it make sense that the curve wouldn't shift too dramatically. Ie. It could have shifted to -14 now as a result of recession-lsating so the increase in testers cuz of the recession is likely (in my opinion) what pushed the curve to 14..seeing as our test curve will be more encompassed in the recession-testers and also has less testers to throw the curve off with, I predict -14

I messed up one of the rules on that and it took me four questions to realize i had it backwards so time ended up being an issue for me
still finished but def would have liked more time

I took two LG sections but either there were more experimentals out there than the 1 that they distrubuted or i was so insanely anxious that i dont remember half of the LGs you guys are mentioning

weird...

i could have sworn we had 3 25 question LR sections, a 23 LG and a 27 RC

YES, I had a string of Ds and a lot of D answers in general also in one section of the LR! I started to get worried but I knew the answers and wasn't going to change them. The string of Ds (like 5 questions) was in the middle (15 or so).

Which was experimental?
You sure about that?
We had

RC-LG-LR-RC-LR
27-23-25-27-25

There was definitely more than one experimental LG section. I had 2 LG sections and have never heard of the games some people are mentioning.

This would make the curve more stringent, not less stringent. More test takers would (presumably) make it more competitive to get a good score, meaning that more people would score higher.

Though on the other hand I could see the recession pushing in more less-qualified test takers.

Well, I'm not sure either way now.
