Usually folk get to wait until after the test before they start frantically clicking refresh on the LSAC website.

Guess this can be considered good practice for results day.

I'll try and keep this updated. Does anyone know whether, if you subscribe to a topic, you are notified of edits?

It's easier to read if I keep the first post up to date, but less helpful for others if they're not alerted to changes? If edits are not alerted, I can add a small post identifying what changed.

Anyone who lives in Florida deserves our pity, not our scorn.

As if the LSAT build up need to be more stressful than it already is. Thank God, LA doesn't have seasons.

Well, there is the possibility of rain on Saturday here in SoCal. With that in mind, I shall follow the closures with bated breath.

I don't think rain qualifies as a reason to close the test center... Does it?

From the LSAC Web site:

"LSAC will contact you via email as soon as possible (most likely the week after the test date) regarding other options, including a make-up test."

just got off the phone with LSAC who told me that the make up tests would have the same curve as Saturdays but wouldn't be the same. How is that fair? I guess if you're taking a make up you should pray that it isn't harder than what you wouldve taken given no snow.

Is the University of Maryland in College Park closed, or just the one on the Eastern shore?

One of my best friends is planning to take it in College Park on Saturday. I don't know how he is going to get there if they don't cancel it. Last time we had a blizzard in DC, they closed all above-ground Metro stations, and right now his car is dead.

I can't tell you how glad I am that my aunt talked me out of canceling my December score.

Wow that's terrible. Yeah, CP is expecting like 10-15 inches of snow, so most likely it'll be closed. I really really wish I hadn't canceled December, especially if I had known the curve would have been so sweet.... *sigh* Next opportunity I have to take it will be in September. Oh well. Life sucks sometimes.

I think nearly all the DC test centers will close, its just a matter of when we are notified. I'm supposed to take it at UDC which is only a few (underground) metro stops away from me so I could go if necessary, but anyone driving in wouldn't have the same luck

I was also just told my a woman at LSAC that the LSAT isn't curved. I proceeded to ask why does it take sometimes 87 questions right to make a 170 and sometimes 90 to make a 170?

Her response was, "The LSAT isn't curved."

This was all brought on by the above mentioned post that the make-up test will be combined with the original test's curve.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
