My advice is just to chill out. Do a practice section today or tomorrow if you really want to. Don't bother doing anything on Friday.

At this point, you're not going to get any better at the LSAT before the actual test. Just do what you need to to get your nerves under control.

This is also a great example of why people SHOULD NOT be taking full LSATs in the last couple days before the test. Don't want your last practice test to be a bomb & let it psyche you out.

The dip is natural, just bad timing. Your true ability is reflected in how you were performing overall, not on that one practice test.

My second to last practice test was a 162 (or 164, can't remember) even though I had been consistently in the 170's before then. I talked to my LSAT instructor about it & he said it's pretty common for that one terrible score to pop out of nowhere in your final weeks before the test. This was about 2 weeks before my test & he said to relax, continue doing other types of practice & take one more test sometime soon and if I was happy with that score to not take any more full tests before the actual exam.

In the end, don't worry about the black swan, you'll nail it on Saturday.

I've been having this issue. Been making high 160s, low 170s - the other day I got a 165. Still pretty good, but I feel the burnout setting in. Thinking about taking the rest of the week off.

I have been experiencing this exact issue. I actually just recently posted how everything seems to have fallen apart for me over the past few days (my PT's went from high 160's & low 170's, back down to low 160's).

Eventhough my last test was much less than stellar (almost the same score as my first PT), I think I am done with PT's until test day. A little review for me tonight and I am done. I don't know if this is a great idea, but it seems to be what the general concensus is on here. After 6 months of study I know I know this stuff, and by the sounds of your scores OP you know this stuff as well.

My advice is take it easy. One bad score is not nearly as 3 bad scores in a row because you are burnt out (trust me). Now I just need to try to take it easy as well. Ha!

Best of Luck!

I remember being in the same situation pre december lsat. What everybody says is true: your not going to have any last minute revelations from one test.

although i very much wanted to take that last test i had in posession (it was 56), i had already taken 4 or 5 test earlier that week and enough was enough. i never took 56. did just fine on my lsat. just fine.

my score on the actual lsat was higher than any other recent (45 and above) test i'd ever taken.

I had that problem, then I took a day off like two days ago and just hung out and browsed RC advice on TLS, and basically hung out all day, and now I'm feeling well rested and relaxed and I'm back on top :)

Take today off.

... also
make sure you know what day your test is lol
are you taking it sunday b.c. of religious reasons or are you confused and you meant to say saturday?
