Score prediction/ last minute advice

So last seven practice tests (timed accurately without breaks):

50 - 172
51 - 167
52 - 173
53 - 176
54 - 169
55 - 172
56 - 171

Both the 51 and 54 (and 56, though the score was good) lower scores are because I regressed on logic games and got -6 or -7 when I have been getting -1. I used to miss a ton more but then did looooaaaads of logic games and thought I had them down. Those two scores are killing my confidence a little bit, since I want 170+ (like every single person on here, obviously).

Any predictions, advice, calming words? Suggestions for how to conquer the mental roadblock on the logic games? Good luck to everyone else in my boat, and in general to fellow February test takers.

There's one trick I find that makes LG so easy, and without makes them really stressful time-wise.

When you read the prompt on LG immediately follow by glancing at the way the answer choices on the first question are worded to figure out how to set up your games (since obviously one mis-set-up kills you time-wise)

for example, if your prompt says something like this:
you have three familes in a relay race (family O'Reilly, family Potter, and family Russell) that finish first second or third in the race. Each family has two members to their team. The family members are arthur, betty, carol, devin, erik, and frank...
(totally made up, not stolen from a test)

After reading that prompt glance at the answer choices of the first question. If say say something like (a) first family: arthur, betty,
second family: carol, devin
third family: erik frank

etc.

then you know that you should have three collumns and that they should be labelled 1st, 2nd, 3rd with three spaces each beneath them for family name and family members names and should not be labelled O'Reilly, Potter, Russell.

Also once you've set up the collumn.
1st do the 'if' questions, and always glance at all the answers before you start trying options bceause more often than not the answer will end up being obvious or deductable without trying it which saves you a lot of time.

hope this helps
good luck saturday to both of us!

Thanks a lot. That is some pretty sage advice.

Also, just took 57 and will add that 173 to the tally. I think it all comes down to the logic games, and I feel like I could either get -0 or -8 on the real deal. I hate those damn things.

Exact same sitch here. I've been averaging above 170 but sometimes I just bomb the LG section (160 in December for that reason).

I took an LG section this morning, couldn't figure out two of the games and missed 10! Its really affecting my confidence even though I KNOW I can do any logic game. And unfortunately, this is my last unseen set of games, so I'm going to have to do an older section tonight or tomorrow just to shake off the last one.

I think s0ph1e2007 gave some good advice.

Another thing I've found helpful is to skip questions that require a lot of work/you have no idea and come back if time allows. You may get out of the flow of the game and have to read the rules again, but better miss one point than five because you rushed through the next game. And sometimes, I find that moving on and coming back lets me see the game in a new way.
