Re: The Official February 2010 Waiting Thread
Does anyone know how, in general, schools feel when you report a similar second score? I mean, is there general thinking in this area?...my February score ended up being just one point higher than my December one. Ah well. I am worried it will make me look bad because instead of thinking that, perhaps, my December score was what it was because I just didn't do very well that particular day (my gpa is significantly better than my score in terms of percentiles) now they have another example to say "nope, she is really that bad!") I am just simply a bad standardized test taker...always have been but have gone to top tier schools for undergrad and previous grad school nonetheless...and my gpa at all levels, undergrad and grad, is between 3.86 and 4.0.
Anyway, I am bummed that schools have been "waiting" on this second score and it is the same darn thing. I would be curious any thoughts on how they might view it and/or use it. I really wish I would have just gone with the score I had so I could be further along in the whole decision process!
Congrats to everyone who did well...a lot of great scores posted here!

Haha - I also flinch when I hit refresh on LSAC...I literally have to force myself to open my eyes each time...to NOTHING!alovely12 wrote:I didn't think it possible that today could be worse than yesterday, but this is more stressful. I keep hitting refresh, and then feel like I can't look. I've read both comments from people that did -8 and +8, so I guess I can't predict how I did relative to anybody else.
Congrats to those who did well!

Test Center 1032 (NJ)
Site updated with score 2:38pm ET; Email received about a minute later.
1 point below the average of my PTs, and 2 points below my last score (4 years ago).
Not what I was hoping for, but still a decent score. I'll live.
Good luck to all.

Don't give up hope people. My administration didn't go as well as planned, I was burned out as hell the week of the test, I finished my prep with a 173 (after having previously PT averaged almost a 178) and decided that more tests would only hurt me. I was nervous up until test day that it might not be burn out, that I did have weaknesses, but stayed the course and gave my mind rest. Freaked out after the test because I had to leave one blank on LG, and wondered for 21 days whether my burnout was just burnout or if I was going get a kick to the groin along with my score. Beat the average on test day.

Re: The Official February 2010 Waiting Thread
Does people see a correlation between how much they had to wait the first time and how much they had to wait the second time. I had to wait 3 hrs after people started to get their scores for me to get it last time, is this going to happen again?

Any other 2/20 takers refreshing with little hope of seeing a score for hours?

2/20 scores haven't come in yet. I think we will be the stragglers.

I am no longer anxious. I'm just depressed. There must be some sort of method to this madness. Not alphabetical, regional, test center number... any other suggestions?

Hofstra University (3157) in NY, no score yet. I had to wait a few hours for my December results. Thinking it may be the same this time around too.

Congrats to all of you who are happy with your score-and sorry to those of you who aren't as happy (me included!)
Do you know, if you didnt have your applications wait for the score, if LSAC still sends the score to your schools you've applied to, or do you have to specifically ask?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
