anyone with previous experience
do a lot worse than their average PT on their first LSAT and then do much better the second time?

Or am I just one of those people who can do well on timed tests at home and cant pull it out on test day.... is that a category of test taker?

I'm right there with you. Except I was violently ill with the flu on the day of the test, so it just confirms my suspicion that I am an idiot for not canceling or for showing up for the test in the first place. I incorrectly bubbled in my name at first, so that should have told me something. Weeks before the test, I thought I would be upset if I got below a 175. Ha! Guess the joke's on me. June, here I come! What a depressing first post...

I took the test on over 6 hours of sleep (which I consider enough before a test), a clear head, and no problems. I knew when I left I didn't do as well as normal, but I never imagined it would go that far south of my PTs. The only explanation I can think of is a scoring error. I was filling in a bubble when time was called, so I had to jerk my hand away, and I smeared about 6 or 7 answers in the process. I knew I could not fix it, and something told me I should get a hand scoring. If this test was disclosed, I could see if that was the problem. Now, I have to pay $41 on the chance that it may improve my score. Even if 6 were counted wrong that should have been right, that is still well below my average, probably even not making it to the 167 end of my range.

No. Expect to wait a while. I don't think all of the 2/6-ers are done and then they have to do the 2/13-ers. We will likely be at the end of the bunch.

What do you mean by "I am going to get a hand score"? My Feb 6 score is lower than I ever even considered possible.. and I don't think this is possible. Even on my worst PTs I was still 5 points higher than this. There has to be some kind of error...PLEASE

PT'ed in low 160's...got a 159. fucking great All because of the RC, I just know it,it wouldn't surprise me if I got 12 wrong on that section.

What do you mean by "I am going to get a hand score"? My Feb 6 score is lower than I ever even considered possible.. and I don't think this is possible. Even on my worst PTs I was still 5 points higher than this. There has to be some kind of error...PLEASE

You can get your test hand scored if you think there was a scantron error (ie. you had a few stray marks/heavy eraser marks that you think may have screwed up your score).

hmm...I thought I saw someone from NJ who posted his/her score and if this person took it in NJ, then he/she must've taken the test after feb 6th, since I believe all of the test centers had to have been closed during the feb 6th storm. So, maybe there has been at least 1 post-feb 6th test-taker who received their score already
