Sophie, I would suggest doing 59 instead. 59 has an objectively harder RC section, and (imo) a more difficult LR section as well. Plus, it's the most recent test. I think it's pretty good practice.

Thanks :) ok

rggh I wish they would just accidentally forget to include RC in the feb test. I hate my variations on it. In a timed setting today was the first time I didnt get a single question wrong, usually i get 1-3, and I feel like that was a fluke (although I did do it differnetly- I didnt underline, only circled a few key terms and read very slowly so that I never had to look back at the essay and was confident with answers)
there's so much variation though, im convinced we'll end up with some insane LG that has like 30 different variables and a RC passage that's a whole page long on the genetic transformation of some lating named fly.

See, I love those science passages on genetics, flies, salamanders, you name it. What I can't stand are the damn passages about some author defying conventional writing technique etc., those are brutal.

haha you mean the 'author defying tradition' passage? Yea those really blow because they're so freaking boring.
I just am not a science person and not only do I not care about saving the strawberry feilds from a particular type of gnat, I do not want to hear about the genetic composition of their reproductive processes and how different they are from other gnats... There is NOTHING I can do to pretend I want to know and remember that information

Just did a timed RC section. Went -3 and am satisfied. Plus, I finished with a couple minutes left. I'll probably do another one tomorrow along with a LG. I'm also going to go through the LR on 59 again.

What do you mean by very slowly? About 4 minutes spent reading each passage?

Just finished my last practice test (dec 2009) 20 minutes ago. :)

So pumped!

Qwerty keyboard question was a bitch.
