170 retaking because I forgot to time my self on the actual and finished all the section early. And my hand was shaking the first two sections and I had to pee. I think I will do much better because there is something to fall back on and it isn't such a defining moment. You can always cancel if you mess up. I think schools would assume you scored the same thing. Also someone told me I was black before I took the test so i scored lower.

Retook a 171 and got 175. Was sure would higher than that (pt average was 178), but forgot my headache meds in the car and was not allowed to get them during the break, and entire 2nd half was in pain. Decided not to retake 175. It could still be worth a retake if shooting for HY, though, since it is still below their 75% In your position, I would not retake if the difference would be 1-2 points, which are within the margin of error. If you can consistently score 5 points higher on PT, why not?

I was joking,though statistics show that when black people are told/ fill out that they are black before a test they score much lower. I don't think it affected me but it's interesting, blacks also preform much better if they think they are only performing against other black people as oppossed to whites also. But hey even if true I shouldn't bring it up and reinforce anything and I need to stop reading malcom gladwell. I don't even know these studies could be carried out in an unbiased way.

haha speaking of gladwell, the morning of the test i tried to "prime" myself with "professor-like thoughts" by reading Newsweek. also tried to minimize the number of rap songs on my pre-test playlist.
