Technically 26 when I finish law school....technically 23 when I start. (October birthday....really sucks doesn't it? You're like almost the oldest person in your class)

Right now, 23 sounds old, 26 sounds ancient and 30+ sounds prehistoric.

You will be younger than average at almost all law schools. Also you will discover that where you are at in life becomes much less directly tied to age after about 22. By that point everyone is pretty much as fully developed psychologically as they are going to get and where you fit in socially has much more to do with what you are doing than how old you are. Physically there is also pretty much no difference between 23 and 30. For the most part a 28 year old law student and a 23 year old law student would be pretty indistinguishable if you didn't inquire as to their age and background.

I'll be 23 for about a month into my 1L year then I turn 24. So just below average age-wise. If I had planned correctly I could be in law school this fall, making me 21 when I start and 24 when I graduate. But poor planning and what not threw a wrench into those plans.

I think that's because 25 is a nice, round number while 24 is not quite.

Kind of like $100 feels more expensive than $99.99 even though for all intents and purposes they cost the same.

27 as of last Friday. I also have a 2 year old (who is potty trained!) and I'll be commuting 1.5 hrs to school each way. Or at least that's the plan right now...

That's funny... I remember my oldest daughter always called it, "Dog Dog Go" instead of Go Dog Go.

What a trip going to school at the same time as your kid. Don't let him/her beat your GPA or you'll never hear the end of it (unless you're paying for their school, of course).

32. I'll have to admit I have this terrifying image in my head of a classroom full of squeaky little gunners pumping their hands up shouting "Me! Me!" every time the professor asks a question. I guess most of these T14 schools require a least a bit of real world experience though.
