Not to mention that he graduated close to a decade ago, at least! One of the jobs he speaks of was in 2003.
I'm not an expert on the state of the legal market ten years ago, but from this we can probably draw some interesting conclusions regarding his employability.

I didn't read it but I assume its a fable about some guy who is good at school and sucks at life. Who cares. This is all like telling college athletes to avoid the NFL because Jamarcus Russell is a syzurp sippin joke.

I've read enough briefs and memoranda coming through a federal court to recognize that grammar/spelling errors are indeed the rule, not the exception. The better firms certainly put out better work, but ultimately, clerks and judges still look at the substance rather than the writing. With that said, polished briefs do make the court's job easier and less annoying.
I totally believe that this could happen to someone, although he does sound as though he just sat by the sidelines.
