Any Business Schools accept LSAT for JD/MBA?

Post by imdashep » Tue Apr 08, 2008 1:41 pm

Specifically any of the T-14 schools? Scored well on my LSAT, and think I could do well on the GMAT, but really dont want to have to deal with an entirely new test.

NYU does, in that if you're in the law school, they don't require the GMAT for a joint degree. All they require is adequate quantitative background, which is a determination made on a case by case basis.

I believe for a joint JD/MBA at Duke, you can use your LSAT score in lieu of the GMAT.

sorry about that imdashep, I thought I had read that somewhere. I'm thinking Montauk's How To Get Into the Top Law Schools. Either my memory was wrong of the info outdated. I'm going to have to look that up.

Oklahoma City University was the only JD/MBA I applied to that would accept an LSAT instead of GMAT.

Yes,
Northwestern allows either test and it's one application for both programs.

Just researching this. It looks like NYU is the only upper tier law school with a JD/MBA that only requires an LSAT. Has anyone found others?
