Emory Students - Professor Michael Kang

Post by Mothetgoo » Wed Jun 20, 2018 12:30 pm

A professor who it appears has been at Emory since 2004 is visiting at Northwestern this fall and teaching election law. Any thoughts on him as a professor? Did he teach that class at Emory and, if so, was it good? What was his general outlook on class attendance?

Emory student here - people generally liked Kang and we were sad to see him leave. I never took a class with him and I have no idea what his attendance policy was. One of the main classes he taught was Business Associations (or Corporations, at other schools) and that was a pretty big class so I doubt attendance was counted often. The curve in his BA class was pretty tight, though - lots of B+ grades
