Ok, there's debt averse, and then there's this.

Hypothetically, if you got 10k a year in living stipends, you'd probably owe (max) 30k by the time you left school. And since WashU would get you a job as a paid attorney, you can pay that off in the blink of an eye.

But short answer: no. I've never heard of any reputable school that offers to completely pay for your COL.

Doesn't one of the full-ride named scholarships at Chicago include a stipend? (Not sure if they're still doing that scholarship or not.)

But OP, overall people are right - full living stipends are very rare, much rarer than full tuition.

I don't think that's the one I was thinking of (I meant at U Chicago), but don't worry, very few of us are eligible for the one I was thinking of.

Rubenstein. Not sure if Nony was joking about not remembering the name.

I couldn't remember whether it was the Ruby that came with a stipend or if there was a different scholarship.

The ruby is 15k iirc. The Darrow at Mich is 10. I think thats it for t14s with stipends. I dont think anyone does more than 15.

I'm sure you could find them, but why would you want to do that to yourself? You can probably get Cooley to do this, but then you've just wasted three years of your life. You did it for free, but it was still a waste.

Join the army. You get paid for 3-4 years, and then get the gi bill which covers full tuition and gives a pretty big monthly stipend.

WUSTL throws money at anybody with T14-level stats, but I wasn't impressed by the school or city. PM for details if you want.

You can get loans to pay for what scholarships don't. Poor people go to law school all the time thanks to Grad PLUS loans

I was thinking Navy, but Army works. Sign up for one enlistment, try and get a guaranteed A-School/follow on school for something you won't hate, find a school that does YRP or is a State school, and then find a place that is well under the housing allowance. I'm debt averse since I took out a ton of loans for undergrad that I am still paying off, and my plan is what I listed. Add in some VA disability. Based off of my anticipated VA Disability rating and the housing allowance for my top 4 schools, I'll be making about what I do while on active duty while in school.
