Yes it is learnable. If you want to draw racial/ethnic conclusions from this fact then that is your prerogative.

So you are saying that learnable only for the rich ? For white ? for Asian ? for African American ? for Hispanic American Native American ?

I am saying it is learnable. You are saying those other things.

There are examples of all individuals from all of those groups learning it and getting a great score. Not knowing English as a first language can be a significant obstacle because of the time constraint, and as Nova mentioned economic factors do have an impact because they can have an effect on prior educational opportunities. To the extent that this is a problem it is a problem with the American education system in general and not with the LSAT specifically.

I am poor, went to community college etc, but studied hard, learned the test, and got a great score.

Indo:

It's learnable. Not everyone has great opportunities to learn it.

These statements are simultaneously true. Come on, dude.

If the LSAT is learnable. Then everyone can learn it including AA, HA, NA and International.

As Pneumonia said

" I am poor, went to community college etc, but studied hard, learned the test, and got a great score. "

Every one of the groups you are citing has had identifiers do well on the LSAT. On average they do worse, b/c of fewer cultural, economic, and familial/social supports for learning.

Someone else already stated this above. Are you intentionally being obtuse?

I don't think anyone really knows why those groups do not do as well, but it is documented.

Go watch the Alex Johnson video on the Admissions forum. He talks about this. Talks about some data about French speakers in Toronto versus English speakers in Quebec.
