Maybe I should go get a PhD...
If you're able to get a tenure track job, you're golden.

Getting that job, however...

Most judges are so underpaid it's disgusting.

BigLaw Associates a couple years in make more than most AIII judges.
Not anymore. I think A3 judges are overpaid (grossly overpaid if we factor in their recent increase).

These green bars don't make any sense to me. UProf and Mathmatician have full bars, but they don't seem to match the values.

I know people in 12 of the top 20 I would say that they all hate their jobs from the annoying poor people to the smelly old people and the long hours to the calls at all times of day and night. These jobs all suck, I bet cash money that being a popular 'popcorn' that whacks its own 'stick' is better than any job on this planet if paid 200k.

Wasn't sure where to ask this question, but I'm curious if there's a thread on the legal economy from a very very broad perspective (not like for law students/graduates only ...or one that's market specific, etc.).

I'm an 0L and discussion of the legal economy as a whole interest me.

I see we can't post as 0L's in the Legal Employment threads if I'm not mistaken. And those threads tend to be more specific anyways.

Anyone know if there's an economy super thread or where a good place to talka bout it would be? I figured TLS ought to have some kind of monster thread like that. Thanks.
