Error in my application

I had recently discovered an error in my application that the schools has not caught/called me out on

Should I:

Write a LOCI and point it out and correct the error
Point out and correct the error, straight up, no LOCI formatting
Ignore the error

The error is as follows:
I am in a business program and most schools would give out a bachelor of arts for it. However, in my particular school, they give out a different type of degree for it, and I accidentally put BA.

A LOCI wouldn't usually be used for this. If you want to clear it up go with option 2) and send a brief email addressing the issue. I don't think it's a big deal.

Yes, I should have clarified:

I was going to write a LOCI anyway, but I was wondering if I should address the issue in the LOCI, or separately

Right. But were you considering writing "hey, i'm still very interested in your school. Oh, by the way, I carelessly fucked up on the application." Please consider" ?

No...

Okay, when you put it like that, it seems quite silly on my part. Thanks for the input.

I guess it's now down to:
Ignore it, it's not a big deal vs. simple email to clarify the issue

If it's bothering you then send a brief email clarifying the issue. If it doesn't, then forget it. I personally don't think it's a huge deal (there was another TLS post who did a similar thing) and people seemed to agree with that sentiment.

Okay, thanks for your help. Appreciate it

Btw, this advice is assuming that you are receiving a BS or something equivalent to a BA. If it's not a BA equivalent at all (does that even exist) then definitely clarify.

Yes, I'd say they're near equivalent and I'd say the degree I'm getting harder to obtain than a regular BA

I accidentally put BS instead of BA on all of my applications and emailed the school after I realized it, they just said thanks and never mentioned it again.
