...Huh? Not everyone is a cold call champion, and no one is going to care if you give a sub-par response. And, to take it a step further, preparing specifically for cold calls is almost always a waste of time. But you're going to get called on, and your cold calls are probably going to revolve around the assigned material. So you might as well at least attempt a competent answer.
I realize the Socratic method may sound uncomfortable now, but you'll quickly get used to it. Just prepare for class and let the chips fall where they may. And don't intentionally sabotage your responses.

Probably nothing, at least as far as grades go. If your cold calls are really THAT bad (like, intentionally bad - or completely unprepared) your classmates will probably take notice. Which (again) may not carry any real consequences, but I'd rather my reputation not be one of having a learning disability.

Your professors and peers would think you're a moron. Everyone has trouble on call sometimes, but if you set out to be so bad that calls are cut short and not repeated, you're going to get pegged as the class glue-eater. Also you'll be wasting everyone's time rather than just gritting your teeth and baring through like all your classmates are doing, and you'll be ensuring that other people have to take the burden off of you, all of which would make you a dick.

Relate every answer to the ninth and tenth amendments.

What Bildungsroman said. Also, profs can generally tell the difference between someone who's unprepared/tanking on purpose, and someone who did the work and just doesn't get it. (They may not let on, but they can tell.) And while your class performance doesn't generally have any effect on your grades, all my profs made clear they could dock someone for consistently being unprepared. (Conversely, I know that class performance bumped my grade in two classes.) Finally, you may want LORs from your profs, or to use them as a reference. So purposefully looking like an idiot in front of them, even if you pull a great exam grade at the end, doesn't seem like a very credited strategy.
Dude, the Socratic method is really not that big a deal. If you're not used to having to have a conversation about the material in front of your classmates, get over it - lots of people aren't, but they get used to it and you will too (and it's good for you). The point is not for the person on call to produce pearls of wisdom that enlighten everyone's lives; the point is to produce the standard answers in order to move the class forward. You're not being asked to come up with a solution to world hunger, just what a judge ruled in a particular case.

This. The days of the Paper Chase are by and large gone. They are not going to question your value as a human being. Assuming you've glanced at the reading or understand even generally the issues at play, you will do absolutely fine. Also, "the pearls of wisdom to enlighten" is exactly the disease that plagues the gunner. They actually think that without their comments, the class would suffer. Don't be that guy.
