I tried adding www
I tried google searching and accessing it that way
same results

Anyone else? Fixes?

Apparently insidethelawschoolscam.com goes to a porn site. :?

Was super embarassed sitting in my school library when I typed that into my URL bar and forgot to put the blogspot part in....it goes to some random page and locks. And then starts pop-ups that are pornographic if you try to leave that page! Grrrr...I think there was a girl near me who saw my computer screen too. It took me a few clicks to get out of the pop-ups!

Just a friendly note to beware!!!

Called LSAC:
"We're having a problem with our servers...it should be back up and running tonight."

So that's why I can't check the status, I forgot it goes through the site as well.

Well, hopefully this will prompt them to increase their fee's per digital photocopy forwarding...er...CAS service after this. 21 dollars to email is too cheap....

I have no clue what you're talking about. It and all the status checkers are working fine for me.

its just a server problem that's blacking out the site in some regions. Its working fine for a majority of the people and LSAC has always had their .org. what you're bidding in is the waitlist in the event it ever comes available. You can do the same for espn.com on that site.

If you're using a mac or linux and want to access a status checker (or LSAC) but cannot try this:

open up a terminal and type: sudo nano /etc/hosts

move to the end of the file (just press the down button) then paste the following:

64.9.4.155 lsac.org
64.9.4.141 aces2.lsac.org

Press ctrl+o, then return/enter, then ctrl+x.

Wah lah!

(note you may have to remove this later - it's simple to do, just run the same command, "sudo nano /etc/hosts", then delete those last two lines, then press ctrl+o then ctrl+x).

For you windows users, can't help ya, sorry.

Easy to do on windows too, you just need to paste the exact same lines into your "hosts" file (that's the full filename, in quotes, there). It's pretty easy to find if you google something like "windows host file."

Could not get through to it even after adding lsac.org to my /etc/hosts file, but going through a proxy worked for me. I'm not sure where the proxy is located; I use Hide My Ass for Chrome and it gives me a random server.
