LSAC calculate GPA

Post by tmanthedman » Mon Jan 21, 2013 10:48 pm

Why does LSAC recommend that you complete at least 6 semester of coursework before submitting your transcript?

I have a 170 LSAT and about a 3.3/3.4 I think but I want to submit my transcripts to see how LSAC will calculate my current GPA. I have only completed 5 semesters, but am in my 6th semester now, so I was planning to submit another updated transcript in May once this semester has ended.

Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated if I should really wait as they recommend or if I am okay to submit now so I have a realistic view of my admission stats.

Maybe you can calculate it manually?
