LSDAS calculations?

If this topic already exists, sorry, but I can't find it.
Anyways, quick question... When LSAC does this process how exactly does it work? Do they adjust the grades and then average them into the specific semesters that they occurred then average the semesters? Or do they take each grade individually and average them together?
If the latter is true, I think my gpa could actually go up about .1 which would be nice. Generally, LSDAS adjustments I hear of tend to lower GPA's, not raise them. Any thoughts?
Thanks for the help.
