Applying early (October)
v
Potential increase in GPA by 2pts (3.3 + 2pts = 3.5) if I apply in late December/January

Q1: I have some classes in fall (which end in Dec) which would boost my GPA by about 2pts however I lose the opportunity to apply early in October (after LSAT score is released). Is applying early worth a potential 2pts loss on my GPA? Is this something I can write an addendum for?

Q2: I haven't applied or even looked at any law school applications. Does LSAC calculate my adjusted GPA and if so, when will I be able to see my adjusted GPA? Or do schools individually calculate my GPA by looking at all my transcripts? I'm not too clear on how this works.

Thanks in advanced

I would apply early. If you're placed on the wait list at a school, inform them that your LSAC GPA has changed in December. They will probably look at your file again. I saw people get off the wait list in January at schools after receiving their improved LSAT score.

Yeah but its just a shame, would have liked my application to be "full". Im actually going to intern at a law office (possibly for the state) in the spring which wont show up on my application. Would that have an impact on my application or is it not a big deal?
