Do law schools require you to have your undergraduate diploma before september?

I'm contemplating on finishing my IR honors requirement but it may require me to take courses in the summer and receive my diploma in November of law school year.

As long as I'm done the school work isn't it okay?

Hmm does your school not have summer graduation? I know it would be ok if you graduate during the summer, I'm not sure if that would be ok.

Why would law schools care about your diploma? They ask you to send in an updated transcript (to confirm that you have graduated), so as long as you can get that into them before their deadline, there shouldn't be a problem.

Need a degree, not in hand. They don't care if you walk, or you actually have a diploma. I earned my degree 4 days before my graduation, but didn't get my diploma for 3 months after.
