No one said that.

The rumors of Cali's legal market decline are greatly exxagerated.

No. The California market sucks to begin with, but its suckage is greatly exacerbated by the oversaturation in the market.

Someone who would've been qualified for a job out of UCLA (actual pre-law school ties) could go to an out of state T1 and it wouldnt negatively affect them so long as their relative GPA ended up the same.

No.

God I hope you are trolling.

The 2% that end up on the West Coast are most likely from there, got very home sick and want to end up back on the West Coast no matter what. A small fraction of that 2% may have gotten a firm job through a connection back home (like 1 student tops), the rest end up taking whatever they can get at a Starbucks in L.A.

You're starting to stumble upon the other reason your logic is shit (in addition to the massive assumption you made that the 2% are from there and want to return there).

Definitely retake.

Do not do either of those options if you really want to stay in California. With a GPA as high as that, it's almost insulting to squander it with a low LSAT. Devote yourself solely to that exam, raise it up by at least 10 points and enjoy a T1 in CA.
