Summer Courses....

Do law schools offer summer courses for those just entering who want to get a head start...

some do, though most that do probably aren't worth going to. a few reputable schools offer this option though (IUB and Michigan, just off the top of my head).

Why would you want to get a head start..? Law school, unlike undergrad, is fairly structured in terms of what courses you need to take and when. As the poster above me said, a small number of reputable law schools offer pre-enrollment summer courses...but most don't. Don't even consider that as a factor in your school search.

Some programs offer summer start, but you don't really get ahead. Just wait till fall semester. Maybe take a course after your first summer, though.
