Well... that looks ridiculously stupid. It certainly wouldn't hurt you in your interviews and what not to look like that model however. Yowza.

If I bomb out at NYU, at least I will know what to wear when I join a Tier IV school :)

Pant Suit ― Skirted Suit ― pinned or solid.
Shoes.
Jewelry.
Handbag.
Briefcase.
Other. . . chime in.

This is really a complete dressing list?

Ya, NYU is a whole different ballgame. Meet some of our future classmates:

You need two types of dress if you're going to NYU.

1) Whatever the hell you want.
2) Melt the eyeballs drop dead hot business professional.

I vote pantsuits over skirt suits, because I think suit skirts make women look older. I'm probably wrong, and you can all go to hell in a handbasket. Pantsuits are hot.

This has been mentioned prior, but do not wear open toed-shoes unless you own the business.

Jewelry is fun and all, but make sure you don't have dangly earrings and necklaces and such. Many, many, most hiring partners are men. They don't wear jewelry.

All this being said, you should look hot. Anyone who tells you that the first 10 seconds of the interview when people look up and down isn't the most important is lying to you.

But in the end you're going to NYU, so you're aces. Welcome.

Probably not a bad question to ask. . . pantsuits vs. skirts. I prefer skirts. . . if I eventually wind up at a T-IV, maybe I'll opt for short-shorts

If you're talking personal preference, then whatever, but for the conservative legal field skirt suits are TCR.
