Putting the regional nature of most law schools aside which of the following is better?

Going to LS some place you don't have any connections so that there are fewer distractions from school
Going someplace close to home so that you have a support system

this really depends on who you are and how you operate maximally

i feel as long as i stay on east coast i have enough of a support system. and if i need more, there are people in law school looking for new buddies too.

Impossible to answer generally, depends entirely on the individual making the decision, and without the context of what schools at what price you're talking about you might as well be comparing "tastes great" with "less filling."
