law review/study abroad

Postby haveaniceday111 » Mon Mar 07, 2011 1:54 am

Hi everyone, I'm a 0L with a quick question...

Let's say my 1L grades are good and I do well in the law review writing competition. If I'm selected for the law review, will I be able to study abroad in my 2L? Has anyone done/is anyone currently doing both?

Very unlikely. You would be unable to attend meetings or pull print sources for your articles.

Also, studying abroad is rare in law school and impractical for the vast majority of students. Schools hype it up because anything "international" draws interest from applicants.

A number of people at my school are doing it for their 3L year. As long as they are not a part of the Senior Board they are o.k. They can be articles editors, notes editors, etc.
