So I'm beginning to think that I want to be a CVA, I was wondering if this career path would be shut off to me if I decided to go to law school.
Note: I'm currently considering MPA, MSW, and JD programs for various reasons

I have no idea what a CVA is but apparently this guy has that certification and is also a lawyer --LinkRemoved--
edit: disregard, these are not the CVAs you're looking for

What is Crime Victim Advocate? Is it an educational certificate? Program? Club? What do you have to do to get it?
On the MPA and MSW notes, why do you consider those degree? Any work experiences in a related field? How does start law school first apply to those programs later sound to you?

CVA is just a job, most people (that I know) who are CVAs have MSWs.
I've have 2 years of we in the non profit realm since I graduated in 09.
I'm not so sure about doing multiple grad programs

My best bet for you is to talk to those who practices criminal law and have a policy lean. I don't think you will get shut out just 'cause you are going to law school. However, whether you should go to law school in the first place to become a CVA is different question.
