Oh please. As long as you get the government guaranteeing mortgages, you're going to have distortions in demand, and therefore, eventually, new asset bubbles, including in related products (CDOs, ABSs, etc) . Moreover, a lot of companies are very cash-rich right now, we're already seeing a big private equity boom, I think public m&a will come back in a big way, and when things get cooking, irrational exuberance mixed with market distortions turn a boom into a(n unsustainable) bubble. 2007-9 was just a really, really bad and perhaps inevitable result of mismanaged risk from a hot business cycle. Cycle being the operative word.

And we're already starting to see wage inflation in biglaw (via spring bonuses).

What will really be huge, I think, in terms of stirring up potential for lots of work is an adverse Airgas ruling.

So it's being a "troll" to actually WANT to graduate and do your job?

Yeah and it's being a "gunner" to get good grades too huh?

If you want to quit, then quit. Just don't cry when I send you back to get my cream&sugar right.

Being a "troll" is having four posts, and having already mentioned socialism, racism, "Obamacare BS," and a legal externship on the high seas.

How does that make someone a troll? My first post (at sea) was my reason for making the account in the first place.

The rest is just damn reality.

You think schools like Emory, Notre Dame, and BU will be okay in the next couple years?

It isn't. It's also not better then Emory. The difference between T15-T25 schools is very slight (if any). If you go to ND, you will get an excellent legal education and, if you stay above the median, you will most likely be employed.
