So...
I feel like a moron, but can anyone tell me how I'm supposed to know what my "online user ID" is for the typical law school status checker (e.g. the one Temple and Villanova both use)?
I know my apps will not be through yet, but I wish I could check anyway. It relieves the nerves.
Thanks!!

Most schools will sent you a username and password via email.

At least for me, my username was the same on all the different schools that use the same template/service. Username and password came in an email for each school though.

Re: Online Status Check
The username for most (i.e. all but two) of my status checkers is my first initial of my first name, the first four letters of my last name, and the last four digits of my LSAC ID number
So if my name was Susie Smith and my LSAC ID number was L12345678, my ID would be SSmit5678
Unfortunately, this does you no good, because your password (until you change it the first time you log in) is unique at each school and the only way to get it is in the email. But I thought I'd still throw it out there.

Re: Online Status Check
Is there a reason for a particular school to provide me with a different user name than that of every other school?

Some schools march to a different drummer. Don't worry about it.
