k i gunna type this fast because i gotta study for a math test tomorrow. what undergrad program is easy enough to get a good gpa and can also provide me with a good paying salary in the future if for some reason i cannot/dont want to be a lawyer? first of all, im canadian if that helps any.

i was going to do philosophy but it doesnt really help me get a job in the future although my friend's mom is CIO of four seasons hotel with a philosophy degree but thats kinda rare. also, i might get into BBA programs but with dumb bell curves (such as the one in university of toronto) achieving a good gpa is extremely hard in BBA courses.

any ideas? anything is appreciated. thanks guys.

Do history, go to law school, and become a lawyer. History is as easy as it gets.

If you have a fall back plan you might fall back.

I think econ was pretty easy but some people just don't get it. Accounting is easy but is probably the most god awful and boring subject ever. The good thing with both is that you can do anything a business major can and some things they can't. But seriously, I'd rather live my life paycheck to paycheck than be an accountant.

Accounting/Finance. Get into the banking business. You get to legally rob people.

Yeah I have been told to take accounting since it's easy to find a job with an okay salary. I was going to but I've been told by a friend that it is actually a hard/competitive course. My math isn't the best but it definately isn't bad. I would say I'm a little bit above average but I don't want to risk not getting a 3.5-3.6+ GPA. I'm in Canada and I've seen the GPA required to get into good law schools and it is pretty high.

Oh and to the person who said marketing, I might look into that thanks.

This isn't a decision you should hastily make while studying for a math test.

That said, do what interests you the most (as long as it's not aerospace engineering or something). If you enjoy something, it's much easier to put in the necessary effort to excel in it.

I'm done my math now so I'm good. And yeah a lot of people have told me to do something that I enjoy but too be honest, I can remember the last time I enjoyed anything that had to do with education.

If you can't enjoy it now, and have never enjoyed it, do you really want to go through an extra three years of education? An extra three years which will be much more grueling than what you're doing now?

Accounting , but if you don't like math or to study your gpa will go down is all about practice. How yo use the mathematic in your in day to day life.

Another safer one is Human Resources , marketing , International Business etc......

If you can get a job without law school is a good option , think of your undergrad as your career and the JD is going to supplement it when you are deciding which one you will do.

I like accounting but I wanted to do Political science because I love it but after of thinking of it as my career I realize theres not much I can do with a degree in political science and choose accounting.

The first year of my undergrad it was all jokes and no study until I saw my grades.

Got a C in math and in both physics got C's too. So 9 credits that are mediocre C and 18 that are excellent A and 3 that are good B.

Do the math and that takes you down to 3.33 cumulative . Even though I'm great at most classes , that recklessness will hurt me at then end.

Talking about recklessness , I need to go. I have my accounting finals which is easy but it does not matter if I get a 100% in this exam , I will still get a B for that class .

Because I did not study for any of my other exams and got B's in all of them. Yeah , is easy but if you don't study or take it serious then you will do horrible.

Don't use the easy excuse to get in to something you don't like.

I agree with this, to an extent. I was in your position when I was a sophomore, and I picked mechanical engineering. Granted, my GPA did suffer, but it was the best choice I ever made. I would advise anyone who is able to major in engineering. Engineers can easily move into other fields and it opens more doors than any other major. But, only do this if you're interested and you think you'll succeed. Given that you preferred posting online over studying math, that might not be the case...

Major that can make you money but is not too hard? Business.

Easier majors tend to make you no money (history, etc). Harder majors can kill your GPA for law school (engineering, hard sciences, math, etc).

With that said, you should do your undergrad in something you like. Don't make these decisions hastily.
