What happens after you get kicked out of law school?
So, long story short, I got into two separate fights with several students at my law school. It was bad judgment and blah blah blah. The Dean is really pissed and said if it was up to him, he would probably kick me out. However, he said I have to go in front of the "honor" council and they will make the final decision.
I asked the Dean if he would allow give me permission to visit another school for my remaining year while still getting a JD from here and he said no. I'm pretty sure he will not sign off on a letter of good academic standing so my three options as I see them now are:
1. Wait and get kicked out.
2. obtain letter of good standing and get out!
3. Resign and apply back to law school in a few years.
Maybe I am missing something here guys...
PS: It is your DUTY to help me because I have helped many of you before. I created a new username to post this because I want to hide my identity. Let's face it guys, this is REALLY REALLY stupid.
PPS: Well, maybe I haven't helped anyone, but I have offered commentary on why certain law schools suck.

You are missing something. Since, as you point out, you are unlikely obtain a letter of good academic standing, these are your options:

fights? as in fist fights? were things clearly your fault? We know how the dean feels, but any thoughts on how the "honor" council will judge your case? Maybe you won't get kicked out and you'll have to go through some anger management sessions (no idea if this is plausible).

You better work this out with your current school, or hope that your current dean is not around when you're applying to another law school down the road. Option 3 is not going to be as assured as you think. When/if you reapply, the new school is almost assuredly going to want to know all about why you left your old school, on bad terms, unable to get a letter from your old school saying you're in good standing.Anonymous Loser wrote:You are missing something.
