To be considered on par by TLS standards, one must have around a 175 LSAT and a minimum of a 3.7 GPA. Where in the world are you getting 165+ and 3.5+ from? It's not like all of us are content to settle with going to Columbia or, God forbid, Chicago.

Agreed. The real standard of TLS is judging others based on whether they attend or have attended HYS, with Stanford barely making the cut. If the answer is no, then why are you even going to law school?

I mean I am above the listed requisites - but to suppose that If I weren't, I would've felt like a "retarted" fudgetard barb who follows after unachievable dreams just to waste some goddamn money on TTT schools that would just simply give me the JD title and nothing else. Does it make that much difference going to higher-ranked, elite schools...?

SBL found a clown message board, TLS attacked w/ parodies of ourselves (someone who was not me came in with "IAFarmClown") all the threads we started (chance me, etc) were deleted.

From the time I've been here the standard has become alot harsher. It used to be T14 or bust. Then T6 or bust. Now its more like HYS or bust, CCN are the first losers and then the rest. If nothing else TLS certainly provides motivation to excell, since nothing can be as motivating a factor as what people on teh internet think of you.
